Cineworld Unlimited Card

Advantages: So cheap!

Disadvantages: Only works if you live close to a Cineworld

You need only read my reviews on here to see how much I go to the cinema and how many films I watch. I live close to an Odeon, but to articulate to you how great the Cineworld Unlimited Pass is, I use the train to travel 15 miles out of my way to the Cineworld in Braintree. My local Odeon charges £7.70 per ticket, and so even with a train to Braintree (£4.30), it is a lot cheaper to just get the train, and this way I get to see so many more films!

I got my Cineworld pass in September, and have reliably seen 3-4 films a week since. Typically I will get the train to Cineworld on a Friday or Saturday and then see 3-4 films in a row. The staff are typically quite bemused, but they know me there now so get that I'm just making the most and getting my money's worth. The only drawback I can think of with the pass is that it cannot be used for early booking, but then I've never had a problem seeing films on release day with this card, as long as I head down at least half an hour before the film starts.

To further cement the card's value, let me outlay my costs to you for a typical month of filmgoing:
Cineworld pass = £13.50 per month
Train costs per month = £17.20
TOTAL: £30.70 for 12-16 films per month.

I think £30 for so many films is an absolute bargain, and if you live within walking/driving distance unlike me, then it's even better! At my local Odeon, it would cost me upwards of £100 to see all of those films, but here for £30 a month I can see as many films as I want including travel! I'm pretty much never stepping foot in another cinema chain again given how great value this card is, and I make use of it each and every week.

If you're a film lover like me, there is NO REASON not to get this card, because it works out cheaper than a night down the pub and will save you tonnes of money in the long run even if you grab some drinks afterwards.

Summary: Odeon have lost my business for life
