Advantages: INSTANT CASH WHEN YOUR SKINT

Disadvantages: DEBT CAN GET OUT OF CONTROL

ONCE YOU GET ACCEPTED FOR ONE CREDIT CARD YOU HAVE ALL THE COMPANIES AFTER YOU TO GIVE YOU THEIR CREDIT CARD. JUST THE OTHER DAY I WAS OUT SHOPPING AND I WAS APPROACHED BY A CREDIT CARD SALES MAN WHO ASKED ME DID I WANT HIS CREDIT CARD, I REPLIED NO THAT I ALREADY HAVE TWO BUT HE STILL KEPT GOING ON ASKING ME TO APPLY FOR ANOTHER. WHY IS IT SO EASY TO RUN UP LOADS OF DEBT? ITS BECAUSE CREDIT CARD COMPANIES JUST DONT CARE HOW MANY CARDS YOU PRESENTLY HAVE AS LONG AS YOU TAKE THEIRS.

Maddi - I share your sentiments, it does seem too easy to get credit. Look on the bright side though. I was made redundant recently and my back up plan was to accept every card offered, borrow to my limit on them all, and get on a flight to Rio to start again. Remember who is in control. You are, they cant make you take it, they cant make you spend on it etc.

Erm, maybe lowercase would be easier to read? As for credit cards, the comanies make money off you so as long as you have a decent enough credit score, they'll accept you. Thing is, they can offer you a card and then once they have your details, turn round and say no. They have to weigh up the risks as if you run up a huge bill and then leave town they're in trouble.
