As a teenager first starting out, I thought I was pretty good with money - saving up for things before I bought them etc, and always saying that I didn't want a credit card. Then in 1991 I was provided with a credit card from my bank - I don't think I asked for it, it just arrived.....coinciding with my husband's redundancy, so it ...  Read the complete review

There are a wide variety of credit cards available and it is cerrtianly wrong to believe that they are all the same. For me credit cards are a tool to be used but in no way would I ever consider borrowing on one. This is because the interest rate can be really high. I always clear my monthly balance in full and I use one that gives me ...  Read the complete review

Credit cards are a brilliant invention-IF and it's a big IF you make them work for you and not the other way round. 0% Deals/transfers. Generally the first thing you are told if you are in debt is 'cut up those credit cards' which is not always the most sensible thing to do, firstly if you have no balance on them you should ...  Read the complete review

Express Review on Credit Cards in general
by Khayam Muneer - written on 30/09/08

IDT Prime cards are a waste of time, if you intend using them in the UK, since here we only take chip and pin cards. You can use them on line though. Their customer service, apart from being a premium line are not very helpful either. A refund requires sendind several documents to GIBRALTAR. I would not reccmmmend this card for anyone for use in the UK. You can use them in the US. DONT LOSE THE ACTIVATION CODE that comes with the card, or you will not be able to register the card. If you do lose the code, then the site directs you to a link that asks you to enter other data, as well as the activation code.... that you have lost, so not very good or useful for man or beast.

Mint are rubbish! They sent my statements by e mail but didnt have my e mail address, so who did get them? They dont know and thats my personal details they have despatched and now, they are hitting me with late payment penalties.
Customer lip service is a better word than customer service. I have now cancelled my card and will stick to someone I can talk to face to face not over a phone
