I have had an Egg credit card for over 2 years and now use it almost exclusively. Applying for Egg is simple and quick and using their web-site to manage your account is both easy and convenient. Transactions can be viewed 24 hours a day and recent spending usually appears on-screen within 72 hours. Payment is taken automatically by Egg - so no having to remember to go to the bank or late payment fees. Minimum payment is only 3% of the total outstanding balance. Egg is currently offering a 0% introductory rate for purchases and 2.5% for balance transfers and with a standard rate of 11.9% is it one of the most competitative on the market. Egg gives 1% cash back on all spending (£10 for every £1000) and 2% at their own allied online retailers. Cash back mounts up quickly and is applied as a credit to your account yearly. Customer Service is usually very helpful. An Egg card is definately worth having.
