The Egg Credit Card comes in a bright green colour and like other Egg products the account is managed online.The application process is fairly straight forward and can be completed online with a possible instant decision.

The Egg Card typically has one of the longer introductory 0% balance transfer offers at 13 months for a 3% fee. This compares favourably to the more standard 12 months 0% balance transfer deals. Unlike the Egg Money Card, the Egg Credit Card does not give any cash back.The typical apr is a fairly average 16.9% and it also comes with a quite normal 0% on purchases for 3 months (if using the card for 13 months 0% credit then it is not advisable to also use the card for purchases).

So far the Egg Card is a fairly normal credit card but what sets it apart from most other cards on the market is that it allows you to balance transfer into your bank account for the standard 3% fee, rather than simply transfering the balance to another card. Other credit cards that allow this are Virgin and MBNA. This can be a useful feature for anyone looking for a short term loan as is effectively a 13 month loan at an apr of 3% which is a better apr.
than any actual loans on the market.

The most annoying thing I have found being an Egg customer is navigating through their automated phone system before getting an operator when calling them. Overall this card is one of the more competitive ones on out there.
