I have had the Egg Credit Card since the early days, when egg was launched. In this time I have not had a bad experience. All I can possibly say is that I recommend it to all.

The APR is variable, but very competative. The introductory is 0% at present, with a standard 12.9% APR after 6 months.

Egg offer 1% cash back on all purchases, and 2% cash back when purchasing from their own recommended retailers online. I purchased on my Egg card a holiday, and received £50 cash back. Not much for a £2500 holiday, but £50 I would not have got if I had a different credit card. The cash back soon adds up to. I received over £150 last year! They also gaurantee all online purchases against fraud.

They also offer a very, very competitive credit limit, and this is automatically raised if you keep up regular repayments, and they seem to work hard to reward the good customers.

They also have a very competent customer service department, which you can contact by secure email connection. A question or query is usually replied to the same, or next working day. The only problem is however if you have a complicated problem, it takes you ages to write it, and then when you send you are logged out for inactivity (not typing any thing). My recommendation to stop this is to write your query in wordpad or MS Word, and copy and paste into the email box.

Egg also offer lots of other financial services, and you can see your savings account balance when you log into your credit card statement for example.

In closing, I recommend that anyone looking for a credit card contact Egg, This is because they offer a good credit limit, cash back, a low APR and good customer service. All you need when looking for a credit card.
