Advantages: Low rate of interest, 1% cashback

Disadvantages: time taken to log on

I took out an Egg credit card a few months ago. It offers a number of good incentives for doing so such as 1% casback, 2% on selected online retailers, a low balance transfer rate for the first 6 months, online statements and so on. Thereafter it's a 10.9% interest rate, not the best but still very competitive.

The site is well laid out with options for the different areas. The only thing I hate about it is the time it takes to log on to get to your details. There are a number of security details to be entered.

Once there you can easily access past statements, change payment amounts and arrange balance transfers. All very straight forward and available 24hrs a day.

Helpdesk numbers are available if you can't find the options / help you need. This is unlikely though as a lot of thought has gone into making the options as easy to use as possible.

Alltogether quite a good package and very competitive.
