Advantages: get money back, looks nice

Disadvantages: you have to wait for increments of £2.50 and you have to pay £3 now!

The Game Reward Card is a reward card for the big video game company Game who sell nearly all video games and consoles.

The idea of the card is that it rewards you for your purchases in-store or online like a cashback card. When you buy something you get 2.5% back put onto your card and you can use this against future purchases like another game. You can then redeem this in amounts of £2.50. This is the only bad thing about the card as you have to wait until you reach £2.50 in points and if you don`t buy stuff in Game often you might never be able to redeem your money off.

I got my card for free a few years ago but now the card costs £3 so you have got to think about whether you will spend enough to get more than the cost of the card back! For most people who buy video games I imagine it is as you only have to spend £150 in Game to get your money back!

Using my card I have bought quite a few "free" games and had a couple of games reduced by £2.50! One game I got reduced was Crackdown (which I have reviewed!) for the Xbox 360 which only cost me £3.50 as I redeemed £2.50 off the price and it was pre-owned and a bargain anyway! This game is my favourite Xbox 360 game I have at the moment as well!

Another point to make is that if you pre-order a game you get 5% instead of 2.5% so if you pre-order games or know you want a game you could get quite a lot back!

I have also used my reward card when friends and family want to buy a game but don`t have a card and I have got money for games I did not even buy myself!

If you are buying from the website which is Game.co.uk. (Which I have also reviewed!) Remember to get cashback from a website like Topcashback.co.uk (reviewed separately and you must join a website like this if you ahve not already!) and you get about 10% back from there and 2.5% in reward points giving you 12.5% back excluding any voucher codes you may find online and giving you a massive saving!

I am going to say that this reward card is brilliant and give it 5/5 as it has saved me quite a lot of money and helps me buy any new games which can`t be bad! The card also looks really nice so I have no complaints about the looks either! The member of staff on the till always asks you if you have a card so you never can forget and lose valuable points!

Overall this card is brilliant and has saved me a lot of money off buying games so I think it is great for any gamer!

Summary: If you shop at game at all buy this card as it will save you money!
