I got a game reward card because I bought my pink nintendo ds there. They offered it to me free of charge, and gave me free insurance.

The card normally costs £3, and I had always said no when it was offered to me when buying the very occasional game. The ds was my first ever console, and it was a bonus to get both a free card, and points to add up towards my next purchase.

Game gives you 2.5% on everything that you buy in there, this includes consoles, games, extra bits to go with your consoles. Just hand the card over before they complete the transaction.

When you have earnt £2.50 on your card you can use this, and more in £2.50 amounts off your purchase. It took me a fair while to get to this after using the first £2.50, but I did get there and used it to get money off new games. I also traded in the old games with them, and therefore got even more money off.

If you shop online, register your card online, you can get points then automatically when you buy something. It also lets you review your balance, and if you have £2.50 worth you can click the box that says use my points, so you save online as well as instore.

If you also go through quidco, you can get 9% cashback on games at the moment, and added to this the money from your card you could end up saving a lot on buying things from game.

I havent bought anything online yet but have added my reward card, and its useful to know the balance. Next time I buy a game I will go through quidco, and use the £5 off that I have on the card at the moment.
