Advantages: Easy to use and you get money back on every purchase
Disadvantages: None
2 to 3 years ago I was shopping in my local Game store to be asked if I was interested in buying a Game reward card for £3. I asked what the card does and the guy behind the counter basicly said you earn points everytime you purchase something which leads to money off anything instore. So I decided to buy the card as it sounded like it would help me save a few pennys in the long run.
>>>>>>>How did I get my card<<<<<<<
I got my card at the counter of my local Game store for £3. They asked for some of my personal information like my name, address, postcode, email and £3. Then a few minutes later I got my Game reward card and was ready to earn points.
>>>>>>>How to earn points<<<<<<<
Earning points is easy, you simply pass your card over the counter when you make a purchase in any Game store. If you happen to forget your game reward card when you next shop at Game you can still add points to your card by telling the person behind the counter your name and postcode. If you buy stuff off Games website you can also earn points. First you need to link your card up to your Game account on there website. Then when you make a purchase on there website your points should be added to your card. I have never had points go missing and never had a problem putting points on my reward card. It usually takes 24 hours before your points get added to you reward card. I've never made a purchase on there website as I prefer to shop at stores so I don't know how good the card is with online purchases.
Game also have extra offers were you can earn extra points on your reward card. If you pre-order a game you get double points on your reward card when you buy the game. I also get leaflets through the post every few months from Game that give me an extra 1000 points when I next purchase anything in-store.
>>>>>>>How many points do I earn on each purchace and how do I redeem my points<<<<<<<
Every time you purchase something from game you will recieve 2.5% of that purchase back in points on your card. So if you spend £40 you will recieve £1 of points on your card.
To redeem money off at a game store you need 1000 points on your reward card and 1000 points = £2.50. To redeem your points just ask the person behind the counter if you can use the points on your reward card . You can only redeem in thousands so if you have 2995 points on your card you will only be able to get £5 off your next purchase and not £7.50.
>>>>>>>Overall<<<&l t;<<<
Overall I think this card is a great money saver. It was easy to sign up, its easy to earn points, its easy to redeem points and your points never expire. I have never had a problem with the card over the last 3 years and saved quite a few pounds on games by using my reward card.
I would highly recommend this card to anyone who buys games regularly or just buys the odd few games a year. 5/5 .
Summary: A great little money saver
