Advantages: Lots of uses for points

Disadvantages: none

Goldfish is a brilliant card, and a great way of saving money towards bills or shop vouchers. The points can be used towards Boots, Marks & Spencer, Halfords, AA sub, TV licence, BT, B Gas, and some other things which escape me at the moment.

For example 1000 points can get you a Boots voucher. 500 points can be worth £4 off your TV licence.

I personally managed to save £54 off my TV licence as I had accumulated a lot of points over two years due to buying my first house, and it was a great help to have nearly half of my TV licence paid this year by Goldfish.

In the past I have used my points to get Boots vouchers and treat myself to perfume! My brother uses his in Halfords, or towards his AA membership. He previously had a TSB card which didnt offer very much, and the points system was useless.

You also get points for each new cardholder that you introduce, 500 when I introduced my brother.

The customer service is good, you can access your account and other services on their website.

The scheme really is something for nothing, and very worthwhile, unlike some other credit cards points schemes, such as Barclaycard or TSB and it offers something for everyone, with a wide variety of offers.
