Each year I get back £10 for every £1000 spent, on absolutely everything. Receiving it just once a year is quite nice as it accumulates to a worthwhile and useful amount. Usually a frightening amount as you realise how much you have spent over the year ! I have used cashback cards for all possible purchases for several years. I am a committed plastic money user and endeavour to put everything on cards. All shopping, petrol, bills, insurance premiums, everything around home and when out and about, the smallest and the largest purchases, in fact whenever I cannot get a bigger than 1% discount for cash, which is hardly ever these days.
