I have had a Lloyds bank own credit card knocking around for ages which i never used as i fell out with the bank last year when they stitched me up when i was traveling.
The other day i got my yearly statement with a ten pound charge on it for "Low usage",bloody cheek i thought as they ripped me off for numerous bank charges when i got over drawn last year with their bank accounts for something they did not me.I suppose it was inevitable as i wasn't running up any interest charges after they issued it shortly after i was over drawn with them(Coincidence?).
Anyhow i rang them up to cancel the card immediately, and then got them to annul the charge which they surprisingly agreed to.Not the end of the story though as in the post next week i got a new version called an Asset card with a letter saying all previous charges on my existing account world still have to be paid(10,00).Another phone call to cancel this card later i hope i have finally seen the back of Lloyds bank PLC.I await the next chapter of woe.Useless bank.
