Lloyds have changed the terms of my account without informing me of this. I did have a £1500 interest free overdraft but the type of account has been changed so that I know pay interest on any overdraft.

I did not receive any information from the bank that this was going to happen or what the new charges were - I just opened my bank statement to find a charge for interest. So check that they have not done a similar thing to you and please complain to them if they have.

As a bank that claims to comply with the Code Of Banking Practice, their actions are wrong. Ask them to explain when they told you about the changes and how this complies with the code. If you don't get a satisfactory response, write to the Banking Ombudsman. If he agrees to look at your case, it will cost Lloyds £500!

Try more detail in your next review to get a decent rating and feel free to read some of my offerings too!

Oh dear - I'm with Lloyds, I'll have to check that out.

Hi & welcome to dooyoo - not a bad start there, but perhaps a little short. If you are writing a review about for example a bank, try including things like the range of accounts they offer, services (online banking, telephone banking etc) and customer services. Have you spoken with them about their changing your bank details without your consent? If so - how did they respond?

Read lots of opinions on the site to pick up some writing tips and to get to know some of us and you'll soon get the hang of things - don't forget to rate everything too.

Have fun - Fishbulb >><>?
