The card you can't cancel! (MBNA)

Advantages: see opinion Disadvantages: I can't leave!
I've been with MBNA for a few years, ever since I got a cheap offer through and signed up, intending to switch when a better one came along. This is quite a flattering credit card for your ego, if you pay on time they just up your credit limit every so often, and keep offering payment holidays (where you don't have to make a payment that month, but still accrue interest - some holiday!). My credit limit soon soared and I'm sure they would assist me to buy a small country if I asked them to, they just want me to run up some credit and whenever I pay the card off or get really low on it, they seem to increase my limit to encourage me to spend, spend, spend. So much for companies having learnt from the mistakes of the 80s. Summary: |
