Advantages: Easy to redeem points

Disadvantages: No longer use at debenhams or adams

I like getting things for free and money off so along with my boots and tescos cards this card is usually in my purse. I have it in there as I do a lot of shopping at sainsburys and get most of my petrol from bp.

It used to work with adams and you could get £5 off for 500 points something they stopped around 2 years ago which is a shame as that is the place I always used my points!

It has got easier to redeem your points and you can just take your card into argos or sainsburys now and they will give you the money off there and then. Previously you would have to order the voucher online and wait for it to be delivered.

You can no longer get points at debenhams, which does not bother me as the staff never once asked me if I had a nectar card so most of the time I forgot to get the points added anyway!

You can also get points now for calling numbers once you have registered. Other ways to redeem your points are online with cds and dvds.

Summary: Worth carrying one with you if you shop in Sainsburys and Bp

Think it is 2 with Sainsburys shopping and 1 with petrol per pound but I may be wrong! I used to change 500 points for a £5 voucher at Adams they have stopped that so now I spend it in Sainsburys or Argos - 500 points is £2.50

Sounds interesting. How many points do you get per £ spent, and what are they worth?
