Advantages: you can use it so many places

Disadvantages: the value of points isn't as good as other places

Nectar card is not the best card for getting discounts, it doesn't give you the most points and as far as getting value for your points it doesn't compare to tesco clubcard but the nectar card is the best for the selection of shops that you can use it in.
I got a nectar card earlier in the year because I started shopping regularly at sainsbury's and was surprised at how many options I have with it. I spend a huge amount of money on ebay and amazon and with nectar card you can get points for shopping there, I think this is particularly good because it can be difficult to get cash back for these websites.
.If you go onto the nectar card website you can view a huge selection of shops, both online and offline where you can use your nectar card. So, while it doesn't offer the best value for money I do find that I can use my nectar card far more than other cards because of the number of places that give nectar card points and this makes it probably my favourite loyalty card/programme.
I like their website a lot because it makes it so easy to track how many points you have and to see what you can do with your points. The website is very easy to navigate and I feel that everything on there is very well labelled and easy to find.
They have a great selection of gifts and products that you can get when you redeem your points.
They also send regular vouchers out for bonus points so if you time your shopping right you can really maximise the number of points that you get.
