Advantages: Quick to earn money off shops, lots of places to earn points

Disadvantages: None really, could offer more places to spend points

Sainsbury's Nectar card is a great card to earn money off your shopping or spend on other products. Unlike the Tesco Clubcard I find it a lot quicker to accumulate points with Nectar, 500 points gives you £2.50 off your shopping, I have never redeemed the points for any other products or services but from looking at heir website there are quite a few places to spend them. In my opinion Nectar seems to earn you more points quicker to spend in store but there are not as many places to spend them as Tesco. I have found there are loads of places to earn Nectar points, everywhere I go recently they seem to be advertised, be it Homebase, Beefeater, AA or EDF. Since I have signed up to EDF I have managed to earn quite a few thousand Nectar points, it's great to be able to earn points on essential stuff that you have no choice but to pay for. If anyone is thinking of signing up to Nectar you should do it, with so many place offering you the chance to earn points it you would be mad not to.
