Nectar points - good rewards scheme but slow build-up of points (Nectar Card)
Member Name: tangoman84
Advantages: Good variety of retailers using this points scheme, easy to use, good rewards on offer Disadvantages: Slow points build-up The Nectar Card is a points card that was setup as many of the major retailers felt it was best to have a rewards scheme which would have a large amount of retailers thus making the rewards on offer more varied and better value for the card holder. The card is simple and works on a points per pounds basis which is simple to use and understand and whilst the points rate is not one of the best available the points do build up and you can use the points on so many different retailers that the slow build up of points is quite well offset. You can manage your card easily on the nectar website and if you are purchasing online then you can use the nectar website to link to the retailers sites meaning that if you purchase from the retailer once on their site then you will obtain nectar points on this purchase (you will need to go through the nectar website each time but you do get used to this). Summary: Nectar points - good rewards scheme but slow build-up of points |
