Advantages: free money

Disadvantages: sainsburys keep reducing the value of their vouchers by back door methods

I have been a lifelong sainsbury's shopper. My mother shopped there and i shop there and i expect my daughters will do the same. The reward card was great when it first came out, lots of extra points if you shop cannily and you could easily build up point. Then the card and the points changed. although you now got two points instead of one when there were extra point available sainsburys have used the smaller value opf each point to make it lok like you are getting more, and where 50 old points were offered then 75 new points were offered(50p or 37.5p). still it was free money and, not wanting to look a gifty horse in the mouth i looked into the other things my pointas could buy and they used to be able to buy my clothes in Evans, or dotty P's (and various others), but even that perk has been reduced, it used to be ok to spend the total amount with vouchers, now i can only use one per transaction.
it is still free money, but sainsburys have a way of not letting it go very far.
