Advantages: Free vouchers, Easy to sign up for
Disadvantages: As description
This reward card can be very useful to anyone who shops at Sainsbury stores, or Savacentre stores. It is a loyalty card taht you sign up for on a free issue basis ( in other words, it costs nothing to join). When you purchase anything and hand over your Sainsburys Reward Card you will receive 2 points for every £1.00 spent. You also receive these points for every pound spent on fuel at the Sainsbury petrol station. On the till receipt you get, your points received for that total transaction are shown. These points are then added to your previous total thus showing your total saving. Sometimes you can gain extra points by buying goods in store with extra points attached eg 400 extra points per 250 gram jar of Nescafe coffee. When these points total 500 you are able to obtain a voucher to the value of £2.50 to spend in the store or against petrol. These amounts can either be deducted from your next bill or they can be saved up and spent at a later date. The only drawback to this scheme is that the vouchers can only be spent at Sainsburys or Savacentre. Other than this drawback I think this type of reward card is advantageuos to me.
