I am old enough to remember when the Sainsbury's card was first introduced. For that reason, my review is not going to be as positive as those that have come to it in recent years. When it first came out it really was a reward card, these days I see it more as a loyalty card. You would arrive at Sainsbury, with only a rough outline ... Read the complete review

I do not shop very often at Sainsbury's any more, but I do have their reward card. They have a slighly confusing reward system because they give you 2 points for each pound you spend, which may make you think that you are better off than at rival Tesco, only to find that 500 points only give you the equivalent of 2.50 ... Sainsbury?s what a reward Do you have a Sainsbury ?s reward card in your purse or wallet with your Tesco?s card, Next card, Safeway?s card, Dorothy Perkins card, and all the others? I do not shop in Sainsbury?s very often; it isn?t conveniently placed for me. But when I shop I do use it. It is a ... Read the complete review

Sainsburys reward card is one that you should not be without even if you only shop at odd times in Sainsburys. To get a card just go to the customer service counter and ask for one. If you have plenty of time you can fill out your details there and then on the form provided but if you are in a bit of a rush you can fill it out at home to ... Read the complete review

For as long as I can remember, I've been a regular Sainsbury's customer. It's always happened to be the closest supermarket wherever I've lived. Just coincidence? Why Get a Card? --------------- Being a student, I'm very easily sucked into offers left, right, and centre. In the good old days reward points ... Read the complete review

Sainsbury's rewards points are an excellent promotion for several reasons. Firstly you really can amass a reasonable amount of points in a very short period. Under normal conditions you only get 2 points for every pound you spend but as a result of the large number of products they have points offers on, you usually leave the supermarket with ... This reward card can be very useful to anyone who shops at Sainsbury stores, or Savacentre stores. It is a loyalty card taht you sign up for on a free issue basis ( in other words, it costs nothing to join). When you purchase anything and hand over your Sainsburys Reward Card you will receive 2 points for every £1.00 spent. You also ... Read the complete review

I like the idea of reward/loyalty cards. Positioned as "giving the customer something for nothing" reward/loyalty cards can be used to improve your shopping experience in more ways than you may realise. Sadly, few of the current cards and schemes on the market really fulfil these needs, as retailers don't seem to invest the money in ... Read the complete review

As with the other loyalty cards I have had my Sainsburys card ever since the scheme was launched, but I don’t tend to use it for much in the way of ordinary shopping, as Sainsburys prices are usually a bit on the high side overall. The basic principle is that you get two points awarded for every full pound that you spend in ... Read the complete review

The Sainsbury reward card is not as good as it could be. There are only few things that I tend to buy in Sainsburys because I do like them and I am fussy about them. I do have a reward card. You must spend at least a pound and then you get 2 reward points per pound. But they are worth half as much. You get a £2.50 voucher off in ... Read the complete review

I got a Sainsbury's reward card when I went to university, thinking it would save me loads of money on my shopping bills, however, shopping for just one person earns only a few points at a time, so it takes ages to build up enough points to get anything. I only build up my points a lot when they offer extra points when you buy a certain ... Read the complete review

I have been a lifelong sainsbury's shopper. My mother shopped there and i shop there and i expect my daughters will do the same. The reward card was great when it first came out, lots of extra points if you shop cannily and you could easily build up point. Then the card and the points changed. although you now got two points instead of one ... Read the complete review

I have been a loyal customer of Sainsbury's for quite a number of years now, even though our local store is not a giant one and could be improved in many many ways. I have found the loyalty scheme to be a pretty good one and can't really fault it. Each reward voucher given out is for 500 points earned on your shopping bill, which ... Read the complete review

I have had my reward card for about 2 years and I save all the rewards and use them at Christmas. I must admit that I rarely shop at Sainsburys, and when I do go in it is not to do my main shopping, but if things are on offer or if they have extra reward points on items that I normally buy then I will get them while I am there, so they do ... Out of the supermarket loyalty cards i have seen, the new reward card from sainsburys is the best. The payout is 1%, payable in vouchers you get from the store. In addition to this, the points that really stand out are: - the reward yourself point in store - put your card in and get vouchers out, sometimes for free ... Read the complete review

I have been shopping at Merton Savacentre for almost 10 years now. It has a massive car park and has spaces for parents with children close to the entrance. It has several franchises from Adams to Mothercare. It sells everthing from egg cups to microwaves. This is the reason I use it. I find it ... Read the complete review

Sainsbury's reward card was first issued as a spoiler to Tesco's Clubcard. At first Sainsbury's was jam packed with extra reward points offers, in order to get you in the habit of shopping there and addicted to the reward card! The extra reward points offers are still there but not as many as the good old days! For every £1 ... Read the complete review

This Saisbury's reward card is pretty lame. I use it whenever I buy petrol or do my shopping, and in 4 months I have only accumulated £2.50. I never want to buy the things that carry extra reward points, and the vouchers you can print out offer minimal reductions. I think Sainsburys keep their customers in the dark as to what benefits the ... Read the complete review

This is the biggest rip-off know to me. The old reward cards are no different, they say they double the amount of money you spend but they don't. For example, I had earned 500 points and I thought you could spend about £5 in the store when th truth was that you can only spend £2.50. I had faced this shame when I had brought about £5 worth of ... Read the complete review

I've held a reward card for over three years now and there is no doubt that it's no where near as rewarding now as it was when I got it. It works along the same lines as all the rest, you spend a pound (in store or at the petrol station), you get 2 points, you save them up and when you have 500 you can spend them. Some items ...
