Visa Electron vs Solo (Solo Card Services)

Advantages: Online shopping, For U21s, Debit only

Disadvantages: Limited high street use

When there are so many different types of card payment around, why are there so few for the under 21's? I have encountered a problem with the Debit card system in this respect - as I cannot use my Visa Electron card to purchase online in any degree.

The Solo card does allow limited online purchasing - but is more restricted in high street shops.
An interesting dilemma. Which do you get???

As a customer of a bank that already supports the Visa Electron, I went for that. WAS IT THE RIGHT CHOICE????
