Advantages: Haven't found any yet

Disadvantages: Cash doesn't seem to go into the card straight away

I set up one of these cards for my daughter, I went to the post office and put cash into it and gave the card to my daughter. When she tried to buy petrol with it she found the card had no money in it. Surely if I put in cash it should've been there straight away?

Then I went to the website to check the account and found there was no money in it. I sent the site an e-mail querying this, and I'm still waiting for a reply. I've sent 2 more e-mails and haven't had replies to them either.

So, I then tried to phone them only to find if you want to speak to customer services it cost 50p a minute plus vat. This is ridiculous and just cashing in on people who can least afford it.

All in all, I'm not impressed at all, and after reading other reviews I see that it's limited to what you can use it for. I haven't checked to see if you can buy petrol or buy groceries etc, which is the reason I got it for her.

If anyone can suggest a better card, I'd be pleased to hear about it.
