Advantages: Quick, Free

Well, not literally. That would be WEIRD.

But seriously, Switch is a lifesaver. It's a debit card that links to your current account, so when you spend on it, you don't pay it off at the end of the month - the money for that transaction comes off your accuont there and then.

You can use it in shops, over the phone or net, or even internationally with the help of Switch's good friends Maestro (for debit card purchases abroad) and Cirrus (ATM withdrawals abroad).

So that's what it DOES, but what about how good it is?

Well, it's good. Very good.

It's never ever ever not worked for me - well once last week where the card reader was broken at the shop I went in, but that wasn't Switch's fault.

Easy to use, and super speedy. Thumbs up.

Love the title - I take it you like Switch then, lol. Wish my bank would give me a Switch card, I can't use my Electron card anywhere - bad news for a spendaholic like me! :-(

Would have liked a bit more information about Switch (so I can show my bank manager what I'm missing ,lol), but still thought it was a nice,concise op. :-)

I used to have a Switch card, but changed banks and now have a Delta card which is pretty much the same. Don't thinki I'm quite as passionate about it as you though!

hmmm maybe its time that i change from solo to switch. i didnt realize it was that different from solo
