Not so good after all! (Tesco Clubcard Credit Card)

Advantages: Clubcard points, accepted everywhere

Disadvantages: Not so many clubcard points are they allow you to believe

Tesco Clubcard Creditcard (TCC) is one the biggest diappointments I hold against Tesco. (I actually really like Tesco as a company but this product is such a let down). The website advertises the product well and states that every £4 you spend, gets you 5 clubcard points. That is really all it says. So by my mathematics, if I spent £4 in Tesco and paid with my card, I would get 4 points for being a clubcard member and 5 points for paying with my TCC. However, this is not true. In total, you will only get 5 points. The 4 points that you get from your clubcard is already included in the 5 points. So effectively, you only get 1 point for spending £4 in Tesco. This is really interesting because, you will get that amount of points no matter where you spend using your credit card. In my opinion. it just was a cunning trick to lure customers!

I got over this piece of truth and continued to use the card only to realise that their customer service is terrible. They are the most unhelpful lot of people and this is just not representative of what Tesco stand for. Shocking and a waste of time!

Summary: If it looks too good to be true, it probably is!!
