Advantages: Lots of places to earn points from, Meaningful rewards that you can actually use

Disadvantages: None that I can think of.

I had the Tesco Clubcard for over 3 years, and this is one card that never left my wallet. For every £1 spent at the store, I get 1 point, which is 1p. That is 1% off my shopping. But that is not just it, as I can also use the card at a number of other places, including Tesco Petrol stations. Also, I am a customer of Powergen, which helps me to keep the points rolling in. Sometimes there may be additional points on offer in-store, that will help me to build up my points quicker.

The cashback comes every 3 months in the post, and it can be spent in-store, and now online. If you do not wish to spend them that way, there are a number of offers you can spend them on, and that increases the value of the points a few times over.

Summary: I never leave home without this card
