****Tesco clubcard****

Tesco clubcard is a scheme that gives you 1 point for every £1 you spend on shopping, petrol, mobile phone topups and other non food items at tescos (you dont get points on tobacco, stamps or infant powdered milk). Once you have more than 250 points you will get sent a voucher for 2.50 (goes up in .50 after this amount). Vouchers arrive four times a year (march/april , may/june, aug/sep, and nov/dec) and you can use them in store to get money off your shopping. I dont think this is great, another way you can use them which is much better is to use them for deals. For every 2.50 you have in deals you can exchange for 10 in clubcard deals. This is especially good for holidays - £30 in vouchers will get you a return British Airways flight to paris including all taxes . You could also use your deals to pay for your degree allthough i doubt many people would have enough vouchers to pay for the whole thing.

Tesco clubcard also has clubs you can join that get you bonus vouchers eg double point vouchers . These are the parenting club,healthy living,wine club and food club.

Green points
When you recyle bags at tesco you can get greenpoints these work the exact same way as normal points. You get differnt amounts for different bags.
bag for life- up to 2 points
normal carrier-1 point
blue tesco bags- up to 4points
trolley without (half)20points big 40 points
They slso give you points when you recyle your mobile phone-up to 300 points(5 a year) and from ink .
