Disadvantages: filling out a form

The only thing I can say that is you can't get points on some petrol stations if they're not run by Tescos. This is the case for a few of the Tesco Extra stores which although give you points for Tescos items, didn't give points for fuel but because this store is my nearest petrol station it doesn't really matter as I'd end up costing more driving to the Tescos petrol station which is other end of town just to get clubcard points.
A good thing to have, its free and low hassel and then will end up saving you a bit moneyin the long run.
Every time you get your vouchers there also money off coupons that you can redeem with your card and this lets you earn extra points on certain items like milk, bread or other stuff, up to maybe 40 or 60 points when u would normally only get 2 points for milk perhaps.
If you happen to forget your clubcard one day when in store, just ask the cashier(s) to put points on your receipt then remember to bring that receipt with your clubcard in within I think it is 14 days.
Normally I carry my clubcard around but occasionally I've forgotten so have got the points added this way.

Summary: Get one even if you don't regularly use Tesco
