Advantages: Great rewards and uses for your vouchers

The Tesco Clubcard is basically a customer loyalty card but it is so much better than the competitors such as Nectar.

Basically you get 1 clubcard point for ever £1 you spend, 100 points is the equivalent to £1 in clubcard vouchers. You can collect points in the following ways:

- Tesco stores
- Tesco petrol stations
- Tesco online grocery shopping
- Tesco Direct
- Tesco credit card
- Tesco home hone
- Tesco broadband and internet
- Tesco mobile phones

Tesco are always thinking of new ways to branch out and make more money so I am sure there are more ways to collect points with them!

Tesco also have partnered up with companies so you can collect points at these too. These include:

- Avis car hire
- E-on gas and electricity
- National Tyres and Autocare garages

You receive your clubcard statement ever 3 months which will enclose your clubcard vouchers and additional money off or bonus points coupons. The vouchers are valid for two years so there is no hurry to spend them!

You can spend the vouchers in store or online to get money off your shopping. However if you check out the deals online you can get four times the value of your vouchers!

There are far too many companies to list that are participating with these deals, however here is a selection to give you an idea:

- Butlins
- RAC
- Eurotunnel
- Marriot hotels

I tend to use my vouchers for Wightlink ferries. I use £10 worth of clubcard vouchers to get £40 of Wightlink vouchers. Tesco have paid for many ferry trips across the Solent!

As you can see it is definately worth while using your vouchers for the deals rather than simply taking the money off the cost of your shopping. I am saving some of my vouchers now to pay for my cars MOT in a couple of months!
