The Tesco clubcard must be one of the most popular store loyalty cards that there is!

This card is a credit card sized store card that fits into your purse or wallet like your credit card.

The scheme is basically that for every one pound that you spend in the store, you get one point. Each point is worth one penny, so you need to get one hundred points to get one pound off of your shopping! Compared to some other store cards, this is not really a great deal. Still, as they say, Every Little Helps!

I think that the best thing about this scheme is that you can collect points when you buy petrol. Obviously petrol is expensive and many people spend a lot of money on it, so this is a really good way to collect points.

Tesco send you vouchers in the post that you can redeem in store. However, these vouchers are worth a lot more- sometimes four times as much- if you redeem them in other places, like theme parks and such.

Summary: Don´t spend your vouchers in the store!
