Advantages: X4 your points and get days out, or air miles

Disadvantages: Nothing

A Tesco clubcard is more than you think, the basic information is:
For every £1 you spend you get 1 point equivalent to 1p, so ok thats 1% off all your shopping really, but not the full 1% as if you wont spend exactly a certain amount in pounds everytime, e.g. £1, £2, £3, etc.

Did you know that you can quadruple you clubcard points so the penny become 4p, now that's if you decide to use them on days out, in places such as Alton towers, Lego Land, also on passes and air miles for holidays, so if your a big Tesco shopper you could only spend your points for family outings to save money on them.

Also if you decide just to have your point sent to you just once a year, they'll give you bonus points for being green on the packaging and cheaper on the postage, so every ones a winner.

So here's the big plan: you get a debit card size card to scan or swipe when you shop and 2 key rings aswel to scan when you shop, if both you and your partner have one each, use them every time even for £1 of shopping, and count them up on your recipes, then use them on days out. And if you want more: use your own bags to get an extra point per bag, and if you want even more, save the planet and use boxes at Tesco for 5 points per box, so that's 20p per box you use towards days out!

And for more on your shopping, Tesco look at what you buy and give you vouchers for the thing you get.

Pssst. here's a sneaky little tip, if you see any receipts around with a bar code on them, get them and go to customer service and put the points on your clubcard.

And also look out for the rare places that give you point for things such as car repair places, that strangely offer you clubcard points.

They do say every little helps as it all ads up.

From these I have already been to the space centre, got 6 Merlin passes worth around £200 each.

Summary: Great deal with the point, use them for days out, and collect green points too!
