Advantages: Quick and easy to use and accumulate.

Disadvantages: Vouchers have an expiry date

You earn 1 club card point for every pound you spend at Tesco's, Tesco's direct or Tesco's petrol station; it is also possible to earn points for using their credit card or opening a savings account.
Green club card points are earned for reusing bags and can be collected online by selecting to have shopping delivered without bags.
Points will be applied to online spending and can be collected in conjunction with ipoints and cash back via my supermarket.
When you have 250 points you will get a voucher with your next statement which can be used in store or online.
Vouchers expire after 2 years.
By joining club card you will become eligible for other vouchers, typically for about 25p which can be used when you buy particular products, these are sent with your statement.
Each point is worth 1p off your shopping or 4p off Tesco's deals such as magazine subscriptions.
Alternatively you can exchange points for airmiles with 250 club card points being worth 60 airmiles.

Summary: Highly recommended.
