Definitely the best loyalty card around (Tesco Clubcard)

Advantages: If you shop there and you get petrol there, it's money for nothing! And lots of it! Disadvantages: None that I can think of Out of all the loyalty cards out there, Clubcard has to be the best by far. it's registered to your home address, so if you lose it no one can steal your points. You can get points on petrol and food (which are massive weekly costs for most people), and on a whole host of other things, including energy from powergen, work at Nationwide Autocentres, etc. I also find it amazing how the points add up, and I love the fact that you seem to get your vouchers at times of the year when you're feeling most poor (e.g. just before Christmas, and mid May, when most people are a bit wiped out after a lot of bank holidays and general springtime expenses - garden, car, house, etc). As a guide, there's just me and my partner in our household, and my weekly shop plus £20 worth of petrol a week gets us about £12-15 of a weekly shop each 1/4 year. OK, so it's not a million quid, but it's more than a lot of places give you, and the extra points vouchers, little freebies and extras such as the Healthy Living Club (where you get more vouchers and a nice little booklet with recipe ideas) make it excellent too! Well done Tesco! Summary: Long live clubcard- a great incentive! |
