Advantages: get 4 times the worth in clubcard deals

Disadvantages: not so many extra points vouchers sent out these days

I've been collecting club card points for some time now, I have their credit card along with a regular club card. I've used the points I've earned to get restaurant vouchers (for ever £5 in vouchers you get £20 in vouchers) and I've also used them for magazine subscriptions (for myself and for presents for friends/family). I wouldn't' go out of my way to shop there but Tesco's is the same distance as my other nearest food store who don't offer a good loyalty scheme. Sign up for their clubs too - I'm in the health living club and also the toddler one, as they often send you out vouchers with extra points on (or money off coupons).

Recently I used £5 of vouchers to double up on wine (i.e. get a £10 wine voucher), this isn't as good value as swopping the for clubcard deals but is better than just using them in store.

Overall, in my opinion, the clubcard scheme is one of the best around and is why I continue to use Tescos.

Summary: If it's not out your way you may as well get something for the shopping you have to do!
