Best reward, paying nothing for a 2 night short break (Tesco Clubcard)

Can't recommend Tesco Clubcard Rewards enough! Everyone who shops or gets petrol through Tesco should own one!

I received £48.00 in Tesco clubcard voucher built up over the last year and was actually saving them to put towards a Cosmos holiday but have actually decided to use them for a shortbreak in July as it will be my boyfriend's birthday then and it is an easy way to pay for a break away without actually spending! I received £190 back in Hotel tokens from Tesco (4 x value of tokens that I entered in on Tesco website).

I telephoned Hilton Hotels and used the code as stated in the letter received with the tokens. Beforehand, though I checked Hilton online and checked the same hotel and entered the promo code "PR20TC" and it told me that each room was going to be £119.00 per night (pricey I know) but I have just had more Tesco Clubcard vouchers arrive so the total would be £240 for 2 night stay in July.

When I spoke to the guy on the telephone about the booking I wanted to make I didn't refer to the internet and I stated the same dates and gave him the Tesco Clubcard code and he first came back with a very high priced room rate and I asked if he had anything lower and he confirmed that he had a room for 2 nights (double & b&b) for £188.00 which I already have in my possession £190 of Tesco Hotel Tokens and I snapped his hand off. This saved me £50 compared to what I could have booked it for on the internet! So definitely worth picking up the phone if you want to make a hotel reservation with clubcard tokens!

I am now looking forward to a 2 night stay in Hilton in July with breakfast without even spending a penny! I will definitely be doing this again and thoroughly recommend to all. I get all my petrol from Tesco as it is 2 points per pound rather than 1 point per pound in store! You get a statement every quarter and also get vouchers which help you accrue more points. Well worth doing!
