Advantages: Points build up quickly and value can be mulitiplied with deals

Disadvantages: Value on deals is not always the advertised 4x if you were prepared to shop around

The Tesco clubcard has to be my favourite loyalty card. I'm a bit of a hoarder so try to pick up extra points wherever I can and they seem to build up really quickly.

So far I've always gone for Clubcard deals with my vouchers, as I love a bargain and I just can't bring myself to get 1x my money's worth in store when I can get 4x its worth on a deal! A note of caution though, in many cases it's more like 3x the voucher's worth as you have to pay full price when you'd often be able to get some sort of other discount (eg. RAC membership I paid 1/4 of the advertised price, but could have got it a bit cheaper than the advertised price online anyway, or even cheaper than that for me personally if I'd gone with a different company), still a great deal though!

I do like now how they do 2x the voucher's worth in many non-food departments and I'm finding it very hard to resist buying loads of toys instead of saving my vouchers up for my next car service and breakdown cover.

Summary: I'm still hoarding those points.
