Advantages: extra points opportunities
By far i think this is the best store card of any UK supermarket. Tesco only offers 1 point per pound on groceries, home and technology, equivalent to 1p. However due to their seemingly continuous double points scheme, this become 2p per pound. Points are very easy to rack up, especially when using extra points vouchers they send with vouchers. The vouchers are sent 4 to 5 times a year, and consist of monetary vouchers and extra points. Money vouchers are available in denominations of 50p. For example, 1150 points would equal £11.50, which would come as a £10 and £1.50. There can be five or six points vouchers, which are usually 25 extra points when a pound is spent. tesco send vouchers based on what you spend the most on, so it easy to use all of them, and recieve an extra £1.50 in points. There is a multitude of other ways to receive points, from petrol to owning a tesco credit card. However these pay less reward points.
Summary: a great deal
