Points earned your Tesco Clubcard can be exchanged for any of the amazing 'Deals' in their Clubcard Deals brochure.

Tesco have changed their rather confusing loyalty scheme (no more keys!). From now on you collect your Clubcard Vouchers and choose a Deal from the brochure. £5 in vouchers will earn you £10 off a variety of leisure, holiday and travel deals.

The best way to earn Clubcard points is with the Tesco Visa Card. If you use the card when you shop at Tesco you earn 1 1/2 Clubcard points for every point you spend and 1 point for every £2 you spend outside Tesco. I worked out that if you spend £200 per month in Tesco, that you will earn 3600 points per year which will give you £36 in Clubcard Vouchers which can be exchanged for £72 worth in Deals. If my maths is correct, that works out at 1.5p back for every £1 spent or 3p back on deals (unless you have qualified for Premium deals when you will get back even more - see below).
One point to beware of when using the Visa Card - Tesco charge you £10 for everytime you send in your Visa payment late - Ouch!

Here are some examples of the Deals on offer:

£20 worth of Clubcard vouchers would give you £40 worth of hotel tokens at Heritage, Moathouse, Macdonald and Hastings Hotels.

£35 worth of Clubcard vouchers will buy you 2 adult 1-day passes (worth £19 each) and 2 child 1-day passes (worth £16 each) at Legoland Windsor.

£5 worth of Clubcard vouchers will buy you a £10 token at Planet Hollywood for use in full or part payment for food, drinks and merchandise.

Booking the deal is simple - choose your Deal, send in your Clubcard vouchers with your order form and Tesco's will send you your Deal Vouchers within 28 days.

Tesco's also claim that if you spend an average of £60 per week, measured over a quarterly period in Tesco's stores using your Tescos Clubcard, you will qualty for Premium Deals. This means that you could
get up to four times the value from your Clubcard vouchers (ie if you have £2.50 in vouchers you can claim a Deal worth £10). Therefore if you spend £1000 at Tescos you will get £15.00 back in Vouchers which can be used to get £60 worth of tokens.

Looks like another good deal from Tescos.
