Disadvantages: every thing

This credit card has a very high interest rate which varies depending on the catergory they class you in according to your annual income and according to your credit limit set by them.

Knowing this before i applied for the card might make you wander why i still wanted one?
Well this is the only credit card that advertised being able to write cheques from it which i thought was a great idea as i had a few bills each month i had to pay by cheque and my bank wont allow me a cheque book.

I applied for this card and for the first month payed all my bills using the cheques from this card and only after my first statement arrived did i find out that they actually charge you £2.50p per cheque you wright pluss the interest.

They do not inform you of this untill 28 days after the first cheque has cleared by which time i had written 11 cheques.

That was possibly the most expensive month for charges ever for me.

Summary: steer well clear of this card

It does state the cheque handling fee and the interest rate in their Terms and Conditions

Most credit cards are like this in terms of the income you get and their high interest. Sometimes its a wonder people just dont take notice of them and put companies like that out of business.
