The benefits of the Virgin credit card are impressive, with 0%APR on balance transfers for 15 months and the same for 3 months on purchases, it certainly represents a good deal.

After the promotional period ends the typical rate is 15.9%.

As with all credit cards paying off the minimum statement amount each month is essential so you dont lose out on any of these benefits.

Balance transfers can be actioned online or over the phone when you register your card and this attracts a fee of 2.98% of the amount transferred. Although this is about average for most cards, it is worth considering this outlay if transfering large amounts from another card or to your current account.


There is also the option to manage your account online which is useful for keeping track of your spending and viewing your statements. If you use your card for purchases there are also various discounts available on other Virgin products, including Virgin Media and Virgin Holidays, which may appeal to some.

I would recommend this card and my experiene with them so far has been positive.
