... hold about 15oz. It is made from china but isn't too thin, it's still nice and chunky which I like. I find that the very thin china cups are not as comfortable to drink from and also they get very hot to touch. This mug is still hot to touch but it does cool down so that it's a nice temperature to warm your hands on when it's a cold day. It's a nice rounded mug which makes holding it really comfortable and nice when warming hands. The pattern on it is lovely, it is of Kath Kidston's star design which has nice big sta...more

Cath Kidston Stars Crush Mug: Stars Crush Mug by Cath Kidston (473 words)

I bought this gorgeous mug from John Lewis instore just before last christmas in the sale, as it was reduced from £5 to £2.50 - this is a definate bargain considering it's a Cath Kidston product! I was first attracted to it because it's so unique looking. It reminds me a bit of primary school due to the bright colouring of it and the fact that the stars aren't perfectly printed on and look more hand-drawn on, which adds to the whole look - it's very shabby chic in my opinion. The background of the mug is white, with stars in a variety of colours and sizes. There's green, yellow, red, blue and pink, all of which are spread around the entire mug. Underneath the ...  Read the complete review

I was lucky enough this Christmas just past to receive a set of four Cath Kidston mugs from my aunt with this Stars Crush design on. My kitchen cupboard is an assortment of odd cups and glasses that I have picked up from gigs and free out of Easter eggs, so when I was given an actual set to use and for when guests came to visit I was ecstatic! Cath Kidston is one of my favourite household designers, their range is always quirky and they have a great choice of accessories. It is often a lot of things that you will never use because it is too nice! The brand started in 1993 in London selling vintage fabrics and furniture; it is broadly based on quaint ...  Read the complete review

Cath Kidston Stars Crush Mug: I love it! (But maybe not everyone's cup of tea!!!) (315 words)

I bought this mug in the large flower design last year for my house mate and I admit I'm pretty much holding it hostage in my room most of the time!! As a massive tea drinker, I find most mugs don't satisfy my thirst and I end up going back and making another cuppa straight after the first! However, with my (housemate's) enourmas Cath Kidston mug I can be satisfied with just the one mug. Its kind of like drinking from the teapot itself!!! Cath Kidston, who opened her fist store in 1993, specialises in designing bold yet cute designs in florals, spots and stripes covering a range of homeware, clothing, accessories and outdoor products. SHORT REVIEW - There isn't much you can write about a mug! I am a big fan of mugs that are larger than the average - I don't really see the point of a small cup of tea. I am also a big fan of Cath Kidston. On a recent visit to see family, we headed to the Guildford branch (which if you haven't been its fabulous!) and had a browse about. As I am only a student and struggling with money a little, I decided to only purchase two of the 'Stars Crush' mugs at £5 each. I have to admit, I was quite shocked that you could buy a mug of this size. It is more like a soup bowl than a tea/coffee cup - but all the same its fabulous! The mugs have ...  Read the complete review

It's funny that I came across this product on Dooyoo as I'm sat here drinking a cup of coffee from this very mug - the Cath Kidston Stars Crush Mug. I wouldn't normally search for a product like this as I generally think that there is not enough to say about products like this, but as it is right in front of me, it seemed like too big a coincidence to ignore. I can't remember how much I bought this mug for, but I do know that they are on Amazon at the moment for £4 - which, considering it is a Cath Kidston design does not seem too bad to me (although clearly there are other appealing mugs on the market for considerably cheaper than this!). The first thing to ...  Read the complete review
