      Chickens mug

At Easter, I was given some of the Mark and Spencer chicken range and whilst I used some of the other items over Easter and will keep them until next year, I find myself using the mug on a regular basis.

The mug is quite a chunky feel, and doesn't feel too delicate and as though it will break easily; not good then for anyone who likes their cups and mugs delicate bone china. It has an off white background with a chunky pale blue handle and an all over design featuring hand painted chickens chicks and easter eggs all in pastel kind of colours although the chickens are yellow, albeit a not overly bright yellow. The whole design is very jolly and what I would describe as being a "feel good" design.

As well as a chunky feel the mug is a chunky style, being relatively short at 8.5cm an with a wide circumference.

The mug is dishwasher safe and can be used in the microwave to heat up drinks.

It is available online at www.marksandspencer.co.uk and also in store and costs £6

      **VERDICT...**

I like the design of the whole of this range and have subsequently bought some of the other bits and pieces- ideal for themed entertaining over Easter.

The mug itself is good quality and even after lots of washes in the dishwasher and been put in the microwave, it hasn't lost any colour.

I like the style of it as I don't especially like mugs which feel to fragile and this holds a good amount of liquid for my caffeine fix!!

Good quality mug with a great design.

      Thanks for reading

      Daniela xx
