Hawkins Bazaar is one of those shops that I just can't put my blinkers on and walk past. It is a treasure trove of bits and bobs-some you need others you just HAVE to have, even if it isn't for yourself you feel the need to divulge in bits of tat that you think others would welcome with open arms.

On my recent and very unplanned trip to Hawkins Bazaar there was a centre stall set up in the store selling box upon box of mugs illustrated with the popular Mr. Men figures. Well... I couldn't just leave it on the shelf, could I?

**Packaging**
The mug comes in a thick cardboard box which houses the mug snuggly with extra cardboard padding inside. On the front of the box is the name of the Mr. Men who will also be present on the mug in my case that was Little Miss Sunshine, just beneath her name is an illustration of Sunshine herself. The box is white and glossy and on the other 3 sides of the box are multi-coloured illustrations of Mr. Men characters. Overall, the box is very eye-catching and cheery and managed to keep my mug safe until I arrived home. I have since kept the box for my hair bobbles as I love the design on the box!

**The Mug**
The mug is 8.5cm tall and made from china. The mug is thicker than normal mugs meaning that you don't burn your hands quickly as the heat takes longer to radiate outwards. The mug has a white handle which is aesthetically pleasing for your hand and fits perfectly. The front of the mug is an exact replica of the front of the box and at the back it has some text which reads 'You are not entering laughterland smiling, laughing, chuckling, giggling PERMITTED By Order of the King' and a further illustration of Little Miss Sunshine.

**Availability and Cost**
As previously stated I got my mug from Hawkins Bazaar for £8.00, this is an average price for a mug and especially as it is characterised I think this is a very decent price. The mug is also available with Mr. Happy, Mr. Tickle, Mr. Lazy, Mr. Messy, Mr. Strong, Mr. Grumpy, Little Miss Naughty, Little Miss Giggles, Little Miss Chatterbox, Mr. Bump and Little Miss Scatterbrain. So as you can see there is one here to suit every kind of personality so they'd be great as a gift or just to cheer someone up! These mugs can also be purchased from Amazon and other online stores at varying prices.
