novely tea mug by Suck UK

I had never seen these mugs before until I was given this as a present, obviously because of my love for tea. They are kind of like designer style mugs but they are quite fun as well and look really nice. I do like to have different mugs to drink out of and this one is probably my favourite one of the minute and for coffee drinkers don't worry these is a My Cuppa Coffee one out there for you but I didn't get that one and am not a big coffee drinker. The mug is a bit of a novelty gift and for anyone who loves tea, you must get yourself one of these.

The mug is a ceramic mug and it weighs 290g but still feels quite light which is good as I hate a heavy mug. One the side of the mug it says My Cuppa Tea and has different coloured circles which are shades of tea and then says underneath, colour matching guide. It has the handle at the side and in small writing at the bottom, it says perfect every time. So, in other words this mug is to match your tea up to the colour to get it right for the tea you desire. The mug is standard size and measure in at 80 x 98 x 117mm which is perfect for a cuppa.

The idea of this mug, is that when you look into the mug, you have four different coloured tea like shades inside of it so you have Milky Tea which is how I love my tea, the lightest caramel like shade possible and then you have Classic British which is how most people like their tea as it is a bit darker. The next shade is Builders Brew which has the tiniest amount of milk in the mug and lastly there is Just Tea which is pretty much tea with no milk so black tea which I never ever like to drink. It is a good fun idea and really different at the same time.

I think when I first got this mug, I used to try and match milky up but one thing I will say, is that I find the shades inside are a bit darker than what your tea would be. Even for me at Milky, I find that the colour in the mug is still a bit darker than what I'd like but most of the time, I never match it to the mug but use the mug mainly to drink out of as the novelty wears off. If you are using this though as a guide it is quite a laugh to see what mug of tea you're having that day.

The mug itself is really comfortable to hold as it isn't too heavy and even with tea in the mug it still doesn't make the ceramic burning hot and the handle keeps cool. I have used this several times a day since purchasing it and still the mug remains the same light colour it was to begin with so thankfully has not stained from tea which is easy enough to maintain as long as you don't leave tea in there for hours after drinking and wash it regularly.

The mug is very easy to wash and I really couldn't say anything bad about it, I've got no chips or scratches and the paintwork has not come off at all after regular washing which I am pleased with. You get what you pay for with this mug and it really is a good quality mug to have. I love this mug and think every tea drinker should have one, it is good for a gift idea or even to buy for yourself to have at the office for your tea rounds.

This mug can be purchased from Boots at Christmas time or on Amazon all year round for £7.50 dispatched direct from Amazon so you get free delivery and it comes in a nice box.
