After seeing these cups in a review here, I thought I would get some for my own children to have a supply of cold drinks in the summer. I loved having slushies myself as a kid, and they were certainly a great way to cool down on a hot day, and I was sure we could have a lot of fun with these. I bought two mugs, both blue in colour though also available in red. They were £7.99 each. If there is one thing I love in life it is a slushie. Like many of my generation I remember the abject disappointment of a certain snowman called Mr Frostie who, if you believed the advert, would have you making your own Slushies in no time. However no matter how many ice cubes I had or how much effort I put in to turning his handle all I ended up with was a tiny bit of crushed ice in the bottom of a paper cup and damn near frostbitten fingers.
