Pol Eizo Flexscan F 563: ... is a great monitor, it beats at image quality the most pretentious LCD monitors. The image is superb, also he suports a 1280x1024 @ 75 Hz and 1024x768 @ 100 Hz. The menu is intuitively created and it s simply to use it, also you have some very fine color tunnings at disposal. Nor or less, EIZO makes great monitors, they worth every penny. If image quality is a must, then you shoukd think buy this monitor....

... have had my Viewsonic PT775 since I bought it new, in April of 1997. Yes, you read that right (or left, if you re a southpaw.) :-) It has been utterly dependable, with clear, bright and well defined images and rarely a need to adjust settings. However, changing settings is quite straightforward and easy to do. I read in a review that the controls are small and am frankly puzzled by that comment. If I were wearing heavily insulated, thick mitts that might be the case, but not for these hands of mine. ... received a Compaq 7500 monitor with my old Compaq PC about 3 years ago in 2002. INFO The 7500 is a 17" CRT screen made by Compaq but made in China. I don t think Compaq sell these any more but I have seen them on EBAY for about £35 and as little as £16. DETAILS AND DESIGN The monitor is all black in design with a silver frame surrounding the screen and the controls. Well really it s not silver but more like a brushed aluminium effect. This is a standard 17" Compaq monitor with I think a 16" viewable area. It s shape and design are far better than a lot of newer monitors on the market today. ... have had this Monitor for about 5 years now which i had bought with my than brand new Compaq desktop PC. before i had the PC package i had gone through several CRT monitors where they either over heat, losing its original sharp image and constantly turning itself off. I had this monitor through college and also through university and has served me well. The only thing i would specify against the monitor is that its very bright contrast may cause discomfort whilst long hour uses. My solution to that was to get an anti-glare filter to clip onto the monitor. Once the filter was on there hasnt been a problem, even as i write this review i am comfortably in front of it w...
