After finally writing off my old 15" monitor in a horrible power surge, I decided I needed to swiftly replace it. Stumbling around a budget electronics store later, I found the COMPAQ V75. Looking round it, I was impressed with the good 17" screen size, generally modern design and reasonable price and so decided to buy it.
