I have had this Monitor for about 5 years now which i had bought with my than brand new Compaq desktop PC. before i had the PC package i had gone through several CRT monitors where they either over heat, losing its original sharp image and constantly turning itself off. I had this monitor through college and also through university and has served me well. The only thing i would specify against the monitor is that its very bright contrast may cause discomfort whilst long hour uses.
