I have owned a Compaq V1100 monitor for about 3 years and have never had any problems with it in all that time.
Although rather large in construction and rather heavy the monitor more than makes up for it with its performance.
The colour is second to none with Contrast and brightness buttons on the front making it easy to change these settings as needed.
The settings button at the front lets you change the language of the menus to either French, Dutch, Italian, Spanish or English along with the vertical / horizontal hold, Geometric, Colour, and even a factory reset button.
I bought this for £150 3 years ago and I am still very happy with it and would not change it for a flat screen very though it is very big.
Although the connecting cables plug into the back of this moniter once they are screwed in they will not come out until unscrewed.
I am not sure if these are still available to buy new but you can pick one up on Ebay for under £50.00.

aefra - 27/07/05 I now have an LCD monitor, but do agree there is satisfying quality about the old heavy screens. I agree with deb10. :-) |
